If you are looking in the suggestion sections of Google or any other search engine like Bing, you may find different webpages, posts and blogs of different categories but you may not be able to find yours, why?

Similarly, if you are looking for your site in the Discover section of Google's app or on Chrome, you may be able to find various News websites, Technology website or Shayari website but may not be able to find yours, but why?

#1 Your post might not be indexed to that particular Search Engine, like Google.

For any of your webpage (which we bloggers term it as Posts) to be shown in the suggestions, first your post must be indexed to the Search Engine and should be shown up in the searches. If we are talking about Google, it is quite easier to index and get up in the search if you are keeping your site optimised. 

For indexing even faster, Google has a 'Request Indexing' feature which adds your page to the priority to be crawled and then indexed.

#2 Your webpage must be optimised to be shown in searches. [SEO]

The second mistake most of you are doing is avoiding the SEO, most prominently the on-page SEO. 

Your page should be much optimised to be first shown in the Google Search and then in suggestions. 

You page should be fully organised in the way Google wants and there must be balance between the ads on single page. Pages with overcrowded ads are not considered as optimised for Search Engine.

#3 Write on the topics which are on demand, write on trending searches.

If you are having a News site, then you are luckier than those with Shayari website, this is because you may be able to write on the trending topics which people are searching for, sometimes even 200 searches per minute. In this way, you would be able to get in the suggestion too because it always tries to show the trending and freshly added post.

Indeed, if you are doing this, you will get at least 500 searches for single post and more than 2k traffic on your single webpage.

#4 The chances increase if the site is ranking in the Google searches.

Google always tries to keep your site ranked in the searches but if and only if your site is highly optimised. 

So, try keep your site optimised for search engine so that it ranks and then is shown up in the suggestion or discover sections.

#5 The article on your blog should be long enough to increase response time.

Google gives priority to the posts which are long, like this post, which you are reading right now is of more than 1500 words, so, there is a very good chance of its ranking in the search.

Also, you should write uniquely and should not be scrapped from any source. With that, your article should be written in a way that it is easily understood. 

Like, if you are writing something point-wise, that's best. Google will also make snippets for such of your posts. To see what is a snippet, just search for this keyword on google:

Note that here above, 'upto' should not be written as 'up to' separately, it should be 'upto' only, otherwise snippet will not be shown. This is because Google is highly keywords sensitive.

#6 Use keywords wisely, keywords always play the most important role.

Using keywords with low competition is considered good for every blog but having its daily searches more than 200 is also most important so as for a good traffic on your site. You should always choose such a keyword which pays average have low competition and hogh search volume.
